Hello everyone,
Welcome to Week 4 of May's Mindfulness and Mental Health Challenge! This week, we're diving into the incredible benefits of solitude and silence. By incorporating these practices into our routines, we can enhance self-awareness, reduce stress, and find deeper peace within ourselves. Here's an overview of what we’ll be focusing on:
Day 19: Embracing the Benefits of Solitude
Affirmation: "Solitude refuels my mind and spirit."
Activity: Read "Creating Space for Silence: The Mental Health Benefits of Solitude." Reflect on how solitude can benefit your mental health and consider ways to integrate more quiet time into your life.
Day 20: Finding Peace in Silence
Affirmation: "In silence, I find clarity and peace."
Activity: Spend 10 minutes in complete silence, focusing solely on your breathing. Notice how this practice affects your mood and mental state.
Day 21: Planning a Personal Retreat
Affirmation: "I deserve peaceful retreats that rejuvenate my soul."
Activity: Plan a short retreat to a quiet place where you can be alone with your thoughts. This could be a local park, a quiet room in your home, or any space that feels peaceful to you. Reflect on your experience and how it made you feel.
Day 22: Deepening Self-Reflection
Affirmation: "Self-reflection brings me closer to my true self."
Activity: Read “Daily Self-Reflection Prompts to Enhance Your Mental Health” and choose a prompt that resonates with you. Spend some time journaling your thoughts and feelings.
Day 23: Digital Detox for Mental Clarity
Affirmation: "Disconnecting from digital devices helps me reconnect with my inner self."
Activity: Avoid using digital devices for a set period. Enjoy the quiet and observe how it benefits your mental and emotional state.
Day 24: Designing a Space for Peace and Quiet
Affirmation: "My sanctuary is a haven of peace and serenity."
Activity: Arrange a special area in your home dedicated to silence. Decorate it with calming elements and ensure it’s free from technology. Use this space for solitude and inner peace.
Day 25: Journaling Insights from Silence
Affirmation: "My journal is a safe space for my thoughts and feelings."
Activity: Journal about your experience and feelings during your periods of silence. Reflect on the insights you gained about yourself and your mental health.
Let's embrace the serenity and transformative power of solitude and silence together. Feel free to share your experiences, insights, and any challenges you face throughout the week. Remember to tag us @SarahsMindfulHaven when sharing on social media!
Wishing you a peaceful and reflective week ahead!
Warmly, Sarah 🌼

BnS NEO Divine Gems was a relatively unique MMORPG at launch, thanks to its wuxia fantasy elements and intense action-focused gameplay. Except for Tera, few MMORPGs featured dynamic combat with unique crowd-controlling abilities that let you stun, stagger, knock down, or even launch enemies and bosses like Blade and Soul. As a result, Blade and Soul enjoyed a strong player-versus-environment (PvE) and Player-versus-player (PvP) scene.
The game's graphics were another particular hallmark, thanks to the bombastic character designs by artist Hyung Tae Kim. That name might sound familiar to Nikke: Goddess of Victory and Stellar Blade fans, as that of the founder of the Shift Up corporation. Though Hyung Tae Kim left NCSoft in 2013, his art style still permeates every aspect of Blade and Soul’s visuals.
The current Blade and Soul has undergone many rebalances, content expansions, and even an engine upgrade to Unreal Engine 4 during its many years of service. Unfortunately, this expansive period (nearly 13 years in South Korea!) means there is a lot of content for newcomers and a distinct disregard for the early portions that made the game so intriguing at launch. Not many people run old dungeons or spend time in old regions a shame, considering those zones and challenges defined the title.
Neo essentially reboots the game and starts everyone at square one. In it, you're a greenhorn Hongmoon student mourning the loss of your clan, and seeking answers to the massacre. BnS Classic Divine Gems for sale launches with just two regions: the lush Viridian Coast and the arid Cinderlands. For comparison, the current version has seven regions. The story follows the original game's plot points fairly closely, but the development team is not committed to adhering to the current canon in future Neo expansions. This leaves the door open to alternative story beats, which is an exciting prospect considering that the current title's narrative has stalled considerably.
This was confirmed on stream yesterday. It's not clear just what Diablo IV Gold will be selling, but"cosmetic microtransactions" is enough to raise eyebrows in any loot-based game, just ask Destiny, which will be always at war with its playerbase over precisely the exact same matter. Diablo 4 boasted a robust transmorg system so you could look that didn't cost anything and you wanted. But what if Diablo 4 disagrees that with paid"ornaments" or something. That...wouldn't be great. Diablo 4 eventually began experimenting with selling things but nothing really stuck. It's possible these microtransactions may be nothing and fine, or they might be a measure down from games. We are going to see.
That would be Josh Mosqueira, who's largely credited with being the driving force behind turning Diablo 4 about in the Reaper of Souls, Loot 2.0 era. Sure, it was a group effort, but it was under his direction, and just like so many other people, he has left Blizzard. And if you wish to go further back, the director of Diablo 1 and 2, David Brevik, hasn't been Blizzard since 2003. Diablo 4's director is Luis Barriga, that comes over from World of Warcraft and while he is absolutely good, it will feel important the older supervisors are nowhere available for this new installment.
Here's a quote about fresh legendary and set equipment in Diablo from Barriga:"There is a team legendary in the demonstration that turns [the spell] fireball to a triple fireball spell. The difference may be that a set right now in live Diablo 4 provides you bonuses more in the tens of thousands. I think we are designing the game now for a little bit more restricted to avoid getting us into this super escalating power curve" I don't wish to state Diablo 4 never had any difficulties with power creep.
However, I do worry about the concept of"constrained" legendary and set gear perks in a match like this, within this fun of Diablo is going as nuts as possible with builds, then piled up the problem so large that constrains you, not the layout of these products. Believe me, because I need D4 materials for sale to become amazing, I want to be paranoid here. But on day one here, as soon as you get beyond the initial hype of the existence of this game in any way, I think there are a few essential questions to be raised here, and I am looking forward to seeing more from Blizzard (and enjoying a closed alpha, perhaps.) Sometime soon.
Are you counting the days until POE 2 Currency Orbs early access release. If you've spent years traversing Wraeclast in the original Path of Exile (PoE), you're not alone in feeling nostalgic yet excited for this long-awaited sequel. While the original game will continue to operate alongside PoE 2, this new chapter offers fresh adventures, new mechanics, and an updated ARPG experience.
With the game's early access release date right around the corner, players are preparing to dive into its expansive world, tackle the updated class system, and explore the revamped skill tree. If you're eager to jump in the moment the servers go live, you'll be happy to know that Path of Exile 2 can be preloaded. Let's break down the preload times, how to access the game, and how to make the most of your journey, including optimizing your use of PoE 2 currency.
Grinding Gear Games (GGG) has confirmed the preload schedule for Path of Exile 2. Here's when you can start downloading the standalone client to ensure the game is ready to play the moment it launches:
Note that these preload times are only applicable for the standalone launcher available on Windows and Mac. You'll need to download it from the official Path of Exile website. If you plan to use a third-party launcher like Steam or Epic Games, preloading won't be an option.
While the standalone client will let you download the bulk of the game ahead of launch, GGG has mentioned there may be a minor patch required once the game goes live. However, this will be much smaller and faster to download than the full installation.
If you're planning to play cheap POE 2 Divine Orbs on consoles, there's slightly different guidance for preloading: Pre-download is already available, so you can get the game installed in advance.
