Good Morning!
Welcome to Day 6 of the Fresh Start Mindfulness Challenge. Today, we’re focusing on something we all carry but can learn to release: stress. Life can feel heavy when we hold on to tension, worry, or frustration, but mindfulness teaches us that we don’t have to carry these burdens alone.
By practicing the art of letting go, we create space for peace, clarity, and renewal. Letting go isn’t about ignoring or suppressing your feelings—it’s about acknowledging them, understanding their presence, and gently releasing their grip on you.
To guide your practice, listen to today’s meditation, “Letting Go of Stress.” This guided session will help you identify where you’re holding tension and teach you how to release it, one breath at a time.

🌟 Theme of the Day: Letting Go of Stress
Stress can manifest in many forms—physical tension, racing thoughts, or a sense of overwhelm. While we can’t always control life’s challenges, we can learn to change how we respond to them. Letting go is a skill that allows us to approach life’s difficulties with greater ease and resilience.
Today’s theme encourages you to reflect on what’s weighing you down and to explore ways to release that weight. By letting go, you invite a sense of lightness and freedom into your life.
🧘♀️ Daily Activity: Journal About Something You Want to Release
Set aside some time to reflect and write about one thought, habit, or source of stress that you’re ready to let go of.
Here are some questions to guide your journaling:
What’s been weighing on your mind or body recently?
Why do you feel ready to release this?
How might letting go create space for something more positive?
If it feels right, write a symbolic “release” statement, such as: “I let go of [stress/thought/feeling], and I welcome peace into my life.”
Keep this statement somewhere visible, or if it feels cathartic, tear the page out and safely dispose of it as a way to symbolize your release.
💬 Affirmation of the Day:
"I release what no longer serves me and make space for peace."
Repeat this affirmation whenever you feel tension building throughout the day. Let it remind you that you have the power to let go and invite calm into your life.
📝 Journal Prompt:
What is one thought or habit you’re ready to release, and how will letting go make space for something new?
Use this prompt to explore what’s no longer serving you and envision the freedom and lightness that can come from letting go.
Letting go doesn’t happen all at once—it’s a process of gently loosening your grip on what no longer supports you. Today’s meditation, “Letting Go of Stress,” will guide you in identifying and releasing areas of tension, both physically and emotionally.
Remember, it’s okay to feel attached to certain habits or thoughts, even if they cause stress. Be compassionate with yourself as you practice letting go, and trust that every small effort is a step toward greater freedom and peace.
Take your time with today’s practice, and know that you’re creating space for a calmer, more intentional life.
