Day 8 Evening Reflection


As we come to the end of Day 8, let’s take some time to reflect on our healthy meal preparation

experience. Today, we focused on choosing nutritious ingredients, preparing them mindfully, and appreciating the nourishment our food provides. Reflecting on this practice can help us deepen our relationship with food and enhance our overall well-being.


Journal Prompt:

• What healthy meal did I prepare today, and how did it make me feel? How can I incorporate

more nourishing foods into my diet?


As you reflect on today’s practice, consider the following additional questions to deepen your

insight:

• Did I find it challenging to prepare a meal mindfully? If so, why do I think that was?

• How did focusing on the sensory experience of cooking and eating impact my enjoyment of

the meal?

• How can I make healthy meal preparation a regular part of my routine beyond this

challenge?


Take a few moments this evening to write down your thoughts and feelings in your journal.

Reflecting on your day helps solidify the practice and makes it easier to integrate mindfulness into

your daily life.


Tomorrow, we will focus on the importance of hydration. We will make a conscious effort to drink

plenty of water throughout the day and pay attention to how it makes us feel. Staying hydrated is essential for our overall health and well-being, and this exercise will help us appreciate the vitality

and energy that proper hydration brings.
