đż Day 8 â Listening To Your Body
Hi beautiful souls đ
Weâre moving gently through Week 2 of Spring Into Mindfulness, and I want you to take a moment to acknowledge the care, presence, and intention youâve been offering yourselfâeven in small, quiet ways.
Mindfulness doesnât have to be big or dramatic to be powerful. Every time youâve paused to breathe, reflect, let go, or listenâyouâve planted a seed. And those seeds are beginning to take root.
Today, weâre deepening into our Nourish & Bloom theme by tuning into one of our most trustworthy sources of inner wisdom: the body.
đ§ââď¸ Listening to the Bodyâs Wisdom
Your body holds more wisdom than youâve likely been taught to believe. It stores your emotions. It remembers your stress. It feels your joy. It responds before your mind can catch upâwith sensations, tension, cravings, fatigue, tightness, warmth, release.
But how often do we actually listen?
In a fast-moving world, itâs easy to override the signals. To ignore the call for rest. To numb instead of feel. To push through discomfort instead of pausing to explore it.
Today, youâre invited to return home to your bodyâto treat it not as something to control, but as something to honor.
⨠Todayâs Affirmation:
âI listen to my bodyâs wisdom.â
Say it softly. Maybe even place your hands over your heart or your belly as you do. You donât have to understand every message perfectly. You just have to be willing to listen.
đ Journal Prompt:
What messages is my body sending me lately? Have I been listeningâor overriding them?
Take your time with this. What physical sensations have been showing upâfatigue, restlessness, tightness, lightness? What emotions are surfacing when you slow down? Where have you been caring for your bodyâand where have you been asking it to carry too much?
This is your space to reflect with compassion, not critique.
đ¸ Mindful Activity: Tune In Through Movement or Stillness
Choose the approach your body is craving today:
đ§ââď¸ Option 1: Gentle, Intuitive Movement
Let your body guide you through a stretch session or slow flow. No plan, no performanceâjust movement as meditation.
đ Option 2: Stillness + Body Scan
Find a quiet space, lie down or sit comfortably, and close your eyes. Breathe slowly as you scan from head to toe. Pause anywhere you feel tension or emotion. Just notice.
Let this be a love letter to your bodyâspoken through presence.
đŹ Group Reflection:
What came up when you tuned into your body today?
Where are you being called to slow down, care more, or shift your energy?
Whatâs one way you can honor your bodyâs needs this week?
You are not just a mind. You are not just a doer. You are a living, breathing, feeling beingâwith rhythms, needs, and wisdom that deserve attention.
Your body is not something to fix. It is something to listen to. To nourish. To respect. To love.
Let today be a moment of coming home to yourselfâin the most embodied, intentional way đˇ

Hi Sarah love this
I am listening to my body! I have pain in my shoulder blade and I have not been sleeping well.
So I have been paying attention to how much caffeine I have and holding my phone! It's causing pain I noticed this morning
Thanks for the reminders!
